China OCTG: Final Results of CV Admin Review

The Commerce Department issued the final results of its countervailing duty administrative review on oil country tubular goods from China (C-570-9944). The agency calculated new rates for two Chinese exporters: Wuxi and Jiangsu Chengde. These final results will be used to set final assessments of CV duties on importers for entries between Jan. 1, 2012 and Dec. 31, 2012. New CV duty cash deposit rates set in this review will take effect Sept. 3.

New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect Sept. 3

For entries on or after Sept. 3, Commerce is setting new CV duty cash deposit rates on OCTG from China. Companies that didn't get a rate in this review will continue to get the cash deposit rate set in the original investigation, and companies that have never been assigned an CV duty rate will get the all others rate. The new rates are as follows:

Assessment Rates For Entries January 2012 - December 2012

Commerce is using the rates it calculated in these final results to calculate assessments of CV duties on importers of subject merchandise for entries between Jan. 1, 2012 and Dec. 31, 2012.
