- Sinco challenging CBP's denial of protests of the classification of its ice cream. CBP classified it in subheading 2105.00.4000 (50.2¢/kg +17%). Doskocil says the ice cream should have been classified in subheading 2105.00.1000 (20%). Summons filed Aug. 12.
- Total Vein Solutions challenging CBP's denial of protests of the classification of its medical lasers used in vein closure procedures. CBP classified them in subheadings 9013.20.0000 (3.1%) and 9013.90.9000 (4.5%). Doskocil says the medical lasers should have been classified in subheading 9018.90.75 (free). Summons filed Aug. 15.
No appeals of Court of International Trade decisions were filed at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit during the week of Aug. 11-17.
