Brazil Stainless Steel Bar: Final Results of AD Admin Review

The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on stainless steel bar from Brazil (A-351-825). These final results will be used to set final assessments of AD duties on importers for entries between February 2012 and January 2013. New AD duty cash deposit rates set in this review will take effect Aug. 13.

New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect Aug. 13

For entries on or after Aug. 13, Commerce is setting new AD duty cash deposit rates on stainless steel bar from Brazil. Companies that didn't get a rate in this review will continue to get the cash deposit rate set in the most recent previous administrative review, and companies that have never been assigned an AD rate will get the all others rate of 19.43%. The new rates are as follows:

Assessment Rates For Entries February 2012 - January 2013

Commerce is using the rates it calculated in these final results to calculate assessments of AD duties on importers of subject merchandise for entries between Feb. 1, 2012 and Jan. 31, 2013. Commerce will calculate a specific AD duty rate for each importer of subject merchandise from Villares.
