China Solar Cells: Commerce Orders Liquidation for 18 Cos. 'As Entered'
The Commerce Department announced the termination of 18 exporters from its ongoing antidumping duty administrative review on crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells, whether or not assembled into modules, from China (A-570-979), after their requests for review were withdrawn by review participants. The partial rescission of the review means subject merchandise exported by these 18 companies and entered during the period from May 25, 2012 through Nov. 30, 2013 will be liquidated at the cash deposit rate in effect at time of entry.

The partial rescission applies to the following 18 exporters: CEEG (Shanghai) Solar Science Technology Co., Ltd.; CEEG Nanjing Renewable Energy Co., Ltd.; China Sunergy (Nanjing) Co., Ltd.; CNPV Dongying Solar Power Co., Ltd.; Hanwha SolarOne (Qidong) Co., Ltd.; JA Solar Technology Yangzhou Co., Ltd.; Jetion Solar (China) Co., Ltd.; Jiawei Solarchina Co. (Shenzhen), Ltd.; JingAo Solar Co., Ltd.; LDK Solar Hi-tech (Nanchang) Co., Ltd.; Lightway Green New Energy Co., Ltd.; Ningbo Komaes Solar Technology Co., Ltd.; Risen Energy Co, Ltd.; Shanghai JA Solar Technology Co., Ltd.; Shanghai Solar Energy Science & Technology Co., Ltd.; tenKsolar (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
Suspension of liquidation continues for all other companies subject to Commerce’s administrative review. Commerce is currently scheduled to issue its final results by Dec. 31, although the deadline may be extended.
