China Laminated Woven Sacks: Final Results of AD Admin Review
The Commerce Department issued the final results of the antidumping duty administrative review on laminated woven sacks from China (A-570-916). Commerce found that none of the nine companies under review demonstrated independence from Chinese government control, including three companies that previously had been assigned a separate rate. It assigned all nine to the China-wide entity. These final results will be used to set final assessments of AD duties on importers for entries between August 2012 and July 2013. New AD duty cash deposit rates set in this review will take effect June 16.

New Cash Deposit Rates Take Effect June 16
For entries on or after June 16, Commerce is setting new AD duty cash deposit rates on laminated woven sacks from China. Companies that didn't get a rate in this review will continue to get the cash deposit rate set in the most recent previous administrative review, and companies that have never been assigned an AD rate will get the China-wide rate. The new rates are as follows:
Exporter | AD Rate |
---|---|
China-wide rate | 47.64% |
China-wide companies. Commerce assigned nine companies the China-wide rate, as follows: Cangnan Color Make the Bag; Han Shing Corporation Limited; Jiangsu Hotsun Plastics; Ningbo Yong Feng Packaging Co., Ltd.; Polywell Industrial Co.; Shandong Qilu Plastic Fabric Group, Ltd.; Shandong Shouguang Jianyuanchun Co.; Shandong Youlian Subian Co. Ltd.; and Zibo Aifudi Plastic Packaging Co., Ltd.
Assessment Rates For Entries August 2012 - July 2013
Commerce is using the rates it calculated in these final results to calculate assessments of AD duties on importers of subject merchandise for entries between Aug. 1, 2012 and July. 31, 2013. For all nine companies, Commerce will assess AD duties on importers at the China-wide rate.
