APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for June 3
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes June 3 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Treatment Manual: The following changes have been made to the Treatment Manual (here) to reflect up-to-date information:
Chapter 2-5 Chemical Treatments
- Page 2-5-4 under Step 5--Conducting the Fumigation heading - language has been added at the end of the section
Chapter 5-2 Treatment Schedules
- Page 5-2-37 - NEW treatment T101-n-3 for kumquat (Fortunella japonica)
- Page 5-2-86 under T108--Fumigation Plus Refrigeration of Fruits heading - important notice regarding cold treatment in break-bulk vessels has been deleted
