Animal Product Manual: The following changes have been made to the Animal Product Manual (here) to reflect up-to-date information and corrections.
Appendix A Guide to Entry Status of Animal Products in Passenger Baggage or Mail
- Table A-1-11 Hunted, Wild Game Meat - (page 2 of 2) footnote #4 has been revised
Fruits and Vegetables: The Fruits and Vegetables Manual (here) and the FAVIR database (here) were revised. The reason for the revision was to add a “systems approach” option for Cape Gooseberry from Colombia [Docket APHIS-2012-0038 effective June 2, 2014].
**NOTE: At this time, import permits will not be issued to allow utilization of the systems approach option for Cape Gooseberries from Colombia. Until program phytosanitary requirements are finalized, ONLY cold treated Cape Gooseberries are allowed entry into the United States.
Changes in the Fruits and Vegetables Manual, indicated by black change bars in the left page margin, are on pages 3-75 and 3-76.
