  • Shipping Federation of Canada annual conference. Minister of Transport Lisa Raitt addressed the Shipping Federation of Canada at their annual conference to emphasize the benefits of recent free trade agreements and increased global competitiveness that can be achieved through such agreements.   • Automotive stamping classification. The CBSA has released Memorandum D10-15-19 which outlines and explains the classification of automotive stampings that fall under tariff item No. 9962.00.00. (here)
  • Medicaments classification including natural health products. The CBSA has released Memorandum D10-14-30 which outlines and explains the policy of classifying medicaments including natural health products under customs tariff headings 30.03 and 30.04. (here)
  • Arms export statistics. The DFAIT has released the latest report and statistics on the export of military goods and munitions to various countries, as well as policies and rules that govern this trade. (here)
  • Certain copper pipe fittings. The CBSA will conclude its reinvestigation into the dumping and subsidizing of certain copper pipe fittings originating in or exported from the United States, Korea and China effective May 30, 2014. (here)
