APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for May 29
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes May 29 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Gypsy Moth Manual: The Gypsy Moth Program Manual (here) was revised to update Appendix E in accordance with DA-2014-28. Changes, indicated by black change bars in the left page margins, are on the following pages:
- Appendix E: Compliance Agreements (CAs): Pages E-4, E-5, and E-9
FAVIR and Fruits and Vegetables: The Fruits and Vegetables Manual (here) and the FAVIR database (here) were revised to update the import requirements for guava and mango from Mexico to allow importations of fruit to be irradiated at facilities within the United States. Changes in the Fruits and Vegetables Manual, indicated by black change bars in the left page margin, are on pages 3-203, 3-205, and 3-206.
