APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for May 15
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced changes May 15 to Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) electronic manuals. While some changes are minor, other changes may affect the admissibility of the plant products, including fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Miscellaneous and Processed Products Manual: The following changes have been made to the Miscellaneous and Processed Products Manual (here) to reflect up-to-date information. The individual changes are listed below:
Chapter 3 Reference
- Table 3-45 Rice--milled products - (page 1 of 2) language in the second cell of the fourth column (And:) has been revised
- Table 3-137 Seeds (OTHER THAN nuts) that are processed (seeds with hulls removed) or manufactured into articles - (page 1 of 2) language in the first cell of the last column (Then:) has been revised; (page 2 of 2) language in the seventh cell of the last column (Then:) has been revised
