The first mass order was issued Wednesday (http://bit.ly/1htp5cf), granting 55 unopposed petitions for effective competition from Bright House Networks, Charter Communications, Comcast, Cox Communications and Time Warner Cable. All the petitions cited video competition from DirecTV and Dish Network. The numerous communities involved are all over the country, and include Bourbon County, Ky., Chattahoochee, Fla., Honolulu, Louisville, Ala., and Mankato, Minn.
