AD Admin Reviews Begin for Frozen Shrimp from India and Thailand

The International Trade Administration initiated administrative reviews for companies subject to the antidumping orders on frozen warmwater shrimp from India and Thailand. The ITA intends to issue the final results of these reviews by Feb. 28, 2014. The ITA published its notice initiating other antidumping and countervailing duty reviews in the March 29 Federal Register (see 13032816).

Notices of No Sales During the Review Period

If a producer or exporter named in this notice of initiation had no exports, sales, or entries during the period of review, it must notify the ITA within 60 days of the publication of this notice in the Federal Register, i.e. on or about June 3. (The ITA will consider rescinding the review only if the producer or exporter, as appropriate, submits a properly filed and timely statement certifying that it had no exports, sales, or entries of subject merchandise during the period of review.)

Respondent Selection

If the ITA limits the number of respondents for individual examination for administrative reviews, the ITA will select respondents based on CBP data during the period of investigation. Respondent selection will be made within 21 days of publication of this Federal Register notice; i.e. on or about April 23. Comments on the CBP data and respondent selection should be filed within five days of placement of the CBP data on the record of the applicable review.
