Two Nominated to Serve on Court of Federal Claims

President Obama has nominated two people to serve on the Court of Federal Claims. Their nominations now head to the Senate for approval.

  • Patricia Campbell-Smith, now Chief Special Master with the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. She is nominated for a 15-year term, replacing Lawrence Baskir, who is retiring.
  • Elaine Kaplan, currently General Counsel of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. She is also nominated for a 15-year term to replace Christine Miller, whose term has expired.
