Tajikstan Set to Join WTO on March 2
Tajikstan will become the 159th member of the World Trade Organization on March 2, said the WTO. The country applied for WTO membership in 2001, and negotiations concluded in October 2012. Tajikstan agreed to implement all WTO provisions from the date of its accession, without any transitional periods.
