APHIS Updates PPQ Manuals for Jan. 10

Canadian Border Agricultural Clearance Manual: The online Canadian Border Agricultural Clearance Manual (here) was revised to update the list of Department of Agriculture-approved heat treatment facilities for niger seed. The change is on the following page:

• Chapter 3: Plant: Page 3-65.

Seeds Not for Planting Manual: The Seeds Not for Planting Manual (here) was updated, transmittal 01/2013-56, to add new certification end dates for two facilities approved for heat treatment of Niger (Guizotia abyssinica) seed. Revisions, indicated by a black change bar in the left margin of the revised page, are in Table 3-34 on page 3-43.

Approved Pelargonium Facilities: The list of Approved Pelargonium Facilities authorized to export Pelargonium cuttings to the U.S. (here) was updated, transmittal 01/2013-12, to remove those facilities whose certification expired 12/31/2012 from the list.

Animal Product Manual: The following changes were made to the Animal Product Manual (here) to reflect up-to-date information and corrections. The specific changes are listed after the individual page numbers below.

Appendix E: List of Establishments Approved to Receive and/or Process Restricted Imported Animal By-Products

• Page E-1-4 Alabama - Wild About Fowl was deleted from the list
• Page E-1-7 California - storage address was added to Allied Feather & Down Corp.
• Page E-1-9 California - one item was added to the third column for Breck Dickinson Taxidermy; Central Coast Taxidermy was added to the list
• Page E-1-13 Colorado - three items were added to the third column for Timberline Taxidermy
• Page E-1-17 Georgia - four items were added to the third column for Andy Nimmons Taxidermy
• Page E-1-18 Georgia - one item was added to the third column for Broderick Head's Taxidermy; one item was added to the third column for Buck Master Taxidermy; three items were added to the third column for Bud Jones Taxidermy
• Page E-1-19 Georgia - one item was added to the third column for Cadenhead's Taxidermy; one item was added to the third column for Casteel Taxidermy; Evergreen Taxidermy was added to the list
• Page E-1-21 Georgia - three items were added to the third column for Newborn Taxidermy
• Page E-1-22 Georgia - two items were added to the third column for Trails End Taxidermy; three items were added to the third column for Uniques Professional Taxidermy
• Page E-1-25 Illinois - Mark Spangler was deleted from the list; Safari Imports was added to the list
• Page E-1-27 Iowa - one item was added to the third column for Wildlife Industries, Inc.
• Page E-1-27 Kentucky - one item was added to the third column for Boondocks Taxidermy
• Page E-1-29 Louisiana - four items were added to the third column for National Wildlife Studios
• Page E-1-34 Minnesota - one item was added to the third column for Ed's Taxidermy
• Page E-1-35 Minnesota - one item was added to the third column for Flyway Taxidermy; three items were added to the third column for North Country Taxidermy
• Page E-1-43 New York - Neves Taxidermy was deleted from the list
• Page E-1-52 Pennsylvania - T.A.G.S. Taxidermy was added to the list
• Page E-1-61 Texas - Nouri's Taxidermy was deleted from the list
• Page E-1-64 Utah - one item was added to and one item was deleted from the third column for Animals in Motion/Sam Raby Enterprises
• Page E-1-68 Washington - All Game Taxidermy was deleted from the list
• Page E-1-70 Washington - one item was added to the third column for Peyser Taxidermy; Scott's Taxidermy was deleted from the list
