DoD, GSA, NASA Issue Interim Rule to Implement U.S.-Colombia Deal
An interim rule amending the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to implement the U.S.-Colombia Trade Promotion Agreement will take effect May 15, according to a Federal Register notice to be published May 10 by the Department of Defense, General Services Administration, and National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Key amendments include:
- Amend section 25.003 by adding Colombia.
- Amend section 25.400 by adding Colombia FTA (the U.S.-Colombia Trade Promotion Agreement Implementation Act (Pub. L. 112-42) (19 U.S.C. 3805 note).
- Amend section 25.401 in the table that follows paragraph (b) by adding Colombia.
- Amend section 25.402 by revising the table that follows paragraph (b) to add: Colombia FTA 77,494 77,494 7,777,000
- Adding the appropriate dates.
