CBP Encounters Problems with Emailed ISF Single Bonds and BAPLIE

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued CSMS #11-000213, which states that it has encountered a problem with an email exchange server, which began on Sunday, September 11, 2011. The result of this issue is that Importer Security Filing (ISF) single transaction bonds and BAPLIE transactions received by email have not been able to process.

There is currently no time estimate as to when this issue will be resolved, but CBP will provide further information when it is available.

CBP notes that there is no need at this time to re-submit, as these emails are queued and will be processed as soon as the problem is resolved. Additionally, the response message will not be sent once those emails in the queue are processed.
