CBP Resolves Connectivity Problem Affecting Trade Partners on MPLS
U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued CSMS #11-000207 stating that a connectivity issue affecting all CBP trade partners on MPLS that was announced on September 1, 2011 at 6 p.m. was resolved as of 8 a.m. on September 2.

(MPLS, or Multiprotocol Label Switching, involves AT&T or Verizon, and according to a 2010 document is part of the most reliable type of connection to CBP's VPN (Virtual Private Network) infrastructure.)
