CBP Says 12-Hour ACS Outage Delayed M1 Code Deployment to Aug 27
U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued a CSMS message announcing that due to an unplanned ACS database outage the weekend of August 20, 2011, CBP delayed implementing its planned code drop for M1 (ACE e-Manifest: Ocean/Rail) until August 27, 2011.

(CBP sources note that the Automated Commercial System (ACS) outage lasted about 12 hours, and occurred over the weekend that began on August 20.)
Roll Out of M1 to Continue on August 27
CBP states it will continue its plans to rollout M1 (ACE e-Manifest: Ocean/Rail) on August 27, 2011, and additional information will follow.
