Series of Live Webinars Will be Recorded for Internet Viewing
The live webinars will be recorded and made available for subsequent on-demand viewing over the Internet. The programs will consist of a high-level overview of the initiative, policy, or other topic; and will conclude with an opportunity for the trade to ask pertinent questions. To maximize the trade community’s ability to ask questions during the webinars, the presentation portion will be limited to approximately 30 minutes.
Registration Coming Soon for Sept 1 Webinar on PSCs
The next upcoming trade outreach webinar will be held on ACE Post Summary Corrections on September 1, 2011 at 1:00-2:30 p.m. (EST). Registration for this webinar is coming soon.
Previous Webinars Held on Simplified Entry, ISF/10+2, Etc.
CBP previously held a webinar on July 12 to update the trade on its simplified entry and financial processes project (available here). Other webinars have been held on advanced ACE reports for importers and brokers, CBP management by account, ISF/10+2 for small- to medium-sized companies, etc. Webinars on additional topics previously recorded are archived online and are available here.
(See ITT's Online Archives or 08/15/11 news, 11081505, for BP summary of CBP's work on simplified entry/summary and payment models.)
Space is Limited per Webinar, Pre-Register Using Online Process
Although the trade outreach webinars are provided free of charge, attendance for each is limited, so CBP asks interested individuals to pre-register using the CBP online registration process.
(CBP adds that it incurs a penalty fee for unused telephone lines per event. If for any reason individuals must cancel their registration, CBP asks they submit their notice of cancellation via the on-line cancellation form 48 hours prior to the event.)
