China Ironing Tables: AD Rate Increases for One Company

The International Trade Administration is amending the final results of its antidumping duty administrative review of floor-standing, metal-top ironing tables and certain parts thereof from China (A-570-888) for the period of August 1, 2008 through July 31, 2009.

The ITA is amending the final results to correct ministerial errors with respect to the AD margin calculation for Foshan Shunde Yongjian Housewares & Hardware Co.

Amended Final Results of Review

As a result of correcting the ministerial errors, the ITA has determined that the following amended AD duty margin exists for the period of review:

Amended Estimated AD Cash Deposit Requirements

The ITA states that the following cash deposit requirements will be effective retroactively on any entries of subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after March 21, 2011 (the publication date of the final results):

  1. For Foshan Shunde the cash deposit rate will be the amended 23.61 percent shown above;
  2. For Since Hardware (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd., the cash deposit rate will continue to be 70. 05 percent;
  3. For previously-investigated or reviewed PRC and non-PRC exporters not listed above that have separate rates, the cash deposit rate will continue to be the exporter-specific rate published for the most recent period;
  4. For all PRC exporters of subject merchandise that have not been found to be entitled to a separate rate, the cash deposit rate will be the PRC-wide rate of 157.68 percent; and
  5. For all non-PRC exporters of subject merchandise which have not received their own rate, the cash deposit rate will be the rate applicable to the PRC exporters that supplied that non-PRC exporter.

Assessment Rates

For assessment purposes, where possible, the ITA calculated importer-specific assessment rates for subject ironing tables. The ITA will issue assessment instructions to CBP within 15 days after April 27, 2011.
