ITA Prelim Determines Viet I-Mei is Successor-in-Interest to Grobest & I-Mei
The ITA has initiated this review to determine whether Viet I-Mei Frozen Foods Co., Ltd. is the successor-in-interest to Grobest & I-Mei Industrial (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. for AD duty purposes.
The ITA has also preliminarily concluded that Viet I-Mei is the successor-in-interest to Grobest & I-Mei, and, as a result, should be accorded the same treatment previously accorded to Grobest & I-Mei, with regard to the subject AD duty order.
Viet I-Mei to be Assigned Grobest's 3.92% Rate if Finalized
If the ITA's final results remain the same as these preliminary results, it will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to assign entries of merchandise produced or exported by Viet I-Mei the antidumping duty cash-deposit rate applicable to Grobest & I-Mei (currently 3.92%), effective the date of publication of the final results.
(See ITA notice for more information, including the scope of the order, etc.
See ITT's Online Archives or 10/04/10 news, 10100411, for BP summary of the most recent amended final results of administrative review in which Grobest was assigned an AD duty rate of 3.92%.)
