67 Freshman Representatives Urge President to Act on Three Pending FTAs
On March 1, 2011, 67 House freshman Members sent a letter to the President urging the enactment of the three pending free trade agreements with Colombia, Panama, and South Korea. The Representatives state that they are committed to working with the President to develop a comprehensive trade agenda and believe that the first step in that process is to move forward with the pending FTAs without delay.

House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Camp (R) issued statement in support of the letter and emphasized that passing the three pending FTAs is the essential first step to a comprehensive trade agenda to create real and sustained private sector job creation.
