China Wooden Bedroom Furniture: Over 150 Cos. Must Certify Separate Rate Status by April 29

Q&V Questionnaires for Certain Companies due March 15

The ITA will send quantity and value questionnaires to the 21 companies for which reviews were requested with the largest total values of subject merchandise imported into the U.S. during the review period. In addition, the Q&V questionnaire will be available on the ITA's Web site at http://ia.ita.doc.gov/. The deadline for submission of the Q&V questionnaire is March 15, 2011.

The ITA states that it will not give consideration to any separate rate status certification or application made by parties to whom it issues a Q&V questionnaire, but who fail to timely respond to the Q&V questionnaire.

Parties subject to the review to which the ITA does not send a Q&V questionnaire may file a response to the Q&V questionnaire by March 15, 2011 if they desire to be included in the pool of companies from which the ITA will select mandatory respondents.

(Exporters subject to the review to which the ITA does not send a Q&V questionnaire may receive consideration for separate-rate status if they file a timely separate rate application or certification without filing a response to the Q&V questionnaire.)

Entities with Previously Assigned Rate Must Submit Certification by April 29

According to the ITA, over 150 entities that were assigned a separate (lower) rate in the most recent segment of this AD proceeding in which they participated must submit a separate rate status certification no later than April 29, 2011, or effective at the final results of this administrative review, could lose their separate rate status and instead receive the China-wide entity rate (currently 216.01%). Other Entities Must Submit Application by April 29

Additionally, several other entities listed in the ITA's notice that have not previously been assigned a separate rate (and are therefore subject to the China-wide entity rate) must submit a separate rate status application no later than April 29, 2011, or they could lose their chance to obtain a separate (lower) rate effective at the final results of this administrative review. Notices of No Sales During the Review Period due April 29

If a producer or exporter named in the ITA's notice of initiation had no exports, sales, or entries during the period of review, it should notify the ITA of this fact by April 29, 2011.
