China PET Film: Final Results of AD Admin Review

The International Trade Administration has issued the final results of its antidumping duty administrative review of polyethylene terephthalate film (PET film) from China (A-570-924) for the period November 6, 2008 through October 31, 2009.

Final Results of Review

As a result of its review, the ITA determines that the following weighted-average margin percentages exists for the period of review:

Estimated AD Cash Deposit Requirements

The following estimated AD duty cash deposit requirements are effective for all shipments of subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after February 22, 2011:

1. For the exporters listed above, the cash deposit rate will be the rate established in these final results of review;

2. For previously investigated or reviewed PRC and non-PRC exporters not listed above that have separate rates, the cash deposit rate will continue to be the exporter-specific rate published for the most recent period;

3. For all PRC exporters of subject merchandise which have not been found to be entitled to a separate rate, the cash deposit rate will be the PRC-wide rate of 76.72 percent; and

4. For all non-PRC exporters of subject merchandise which have not received their own rate, the cash deposit rate will be the rate applicable to the PRC exporters that supplied that non-PRC exporter.

Assessment Instructions

The ITA will calculate importer-specific (or customer-specific) ad valorem assessment rates for subject merchandise. The ITA will issue assessment instructions to CBP within 15 days after February 22, 2011.
