1. Updated e-Manifest: Truck Web-based Training

CBP has issued a CSMS message announcing that an updated version of "e-Manifest: Trucks" Web-based Training is now available for all truck carriers. CBP recommends that all new users and those who would like refresher training on filing a truck e-manifest take the updated WBT. The updated "e-Manifest: Trucks" WBT covers how to navigate through the WBT course and how to file a manifest through the ACE Secure Data Portal, amend a manifest, designate a shipment type, arrive in-bonds shipments, etc. (CSMS #10-000102, dated 04/15/10, available at http://apps.cbp.gov/csms/viewmssg.asp?Recid=17883&page=&srch_argv=10-000102&srchtype=all&btype=&sortby=&sby)

2. Updated List of ACE e-Manifest: Truck Software Developers

CBP has posted an updated list of companies/persons who have developed software applications for ACE electronic truck manifest. All companies/persons who are listed have been through the CBP testing process. 3. CBP Updates its TRQ/TPL "Threshold to Fill" List

CBP has posted an updated version of its TRQ/TPL "threshold to fill" list, a quick reference to monitor TRQs and TPLs that are approaching the restraint limit or have filled the in-quota (low) rate. The list is divided into two sections those that are at least 85% filled and those that are closed. 4. CBP Info on Import Ban of Certain Shrimp from Mexico

CBP has issued a notice stating that the State Department notified CBP on March 30, 2010, that it has withdrawn Mexico’s certification under section 609 of Public Law 101-162. Therefore, effective April 20, 2010, wild-harvest shrimp from Mexico’s commercial trawl fisheries may not be imported into the U.S. until Section 609 certification is reinstated.(See ITT’s Online Archives or 03/31/10 news, (Ref: 10033125), for previous BP summary.)
