ITC Expected to Post January 1, 2010 HTS Soon (Paper Version Delayed)

The International Trade Commission is expected to post the 2010 Harmonized Tariff Schedule to its Web site before January 1, 2010, according to sources at the ITC.

ITC Waiting for Additional Details on GSP and AGOA Proclamations

ITC sources state that they are waiting to receive certain additional information about recent Presidential Proclamations which implement certain changes related to the Generalized System of Preferences program and the African Growth and Opportunity Act before they post the January 1, 2010 HTS. Sources stated that they hope to post the January 1, 2010 HTS on either December 30, 2009 or December 31, 2009.

ITC Preparing Paper Version of January 1st Tariff

ITC staff is also preparing the January 1, 2010 HTS for delivery to the Government Printing Office (GPO). Once delivered, it is expected to take several weeks for the GPO to publish and mail out the printed tariff schedule.
