DDTC also states that legacy D-Trade1 licenses and submission tracking will not be available via D-Trade 2.

D-Trade2 is Only Electronic System Available for Filing, Tracking Applications

With this announcement, D-Trade2 will be the only electronic system available for the submission of license applications, as well as the tracking of all D-Trade2 submissions.

DDTC notes that in order for filers to ensure that they have the latest copy of the Forms and Batch schemas, they may download them from the D-Trade2 Web site at https://dt2.pmddtc.state.gov/dtrade/CertificateLogin.

(DDTC previously stated that beginning on May 16, 2009, the D-Trade2 application must be used to submit all new license submissions; however, D-Trade1 would be available to track status and to attach amplifying data to pre-existing cases as required, and DDTC would continue to process any cases submitted via the D-Trade1 application prior to May 16, 2009 until the review of the case was completed.

Electronic Agreement Applications for All Expected on/about October 1st

DDTC also previously announced a pilot, with selected companies, for the submission of agreements and their amendments electronically via D-Trade 2.

Dependent upon the success of pilot electronic agreement submissions, DDTC continues to anticipate making the submission of electronic agreement and amendment applications available to all U.S. applicants on or about October 1, 2009.

(See ITT's Online Archives or 07/07/09 news, (Ref:09070720), for BP summary of DDTC's announcement of the electronic agreement submissions pilot.)

1In June 2009, DDTC launched D-Trade2 Version 2.1 to replace Version 2.0, which was implemented in mid-May 2009.
