2. May 6th COAC Meeting Minutes
CBP has posted the meeting minutes from the May 6, 2009 Departmental Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Related Homeland Security Functions (COAC) meeting that was held in Washington, DC. 3. Delayed Implementation of Pending ISF Transaction Sets
CBP has issued a CSMS message announcing that it has further delayed the implementation of the "pending release" Importer Security Filing transaction sets for ABI and AMS. These changes are now scheduled to be implemented on July 12, 2009 during the scheduled ACS maintenance window that extends to 3:00 am Eastern Time. The changes will become available in both the Production and the Certification regions at the conclusion of that maintenance window. 4. Weekly TRQ/TPL Commodity Report as of June 29th
CBP has issued its weekly tariff rate quota (TRQ) and tariff preference level (TPL) commodity report as of June 29, 2009. This report includes TRQs on various products such as beef, sugar, dairy products, peanuts, cotton, cocoa products, tobacco, certain BFTA, DR-CAFTA, Israel FTA, JFTA, MFTA, OFTA, SFTA, UAFTA (AFTA) and UCFTA (Chile FTA) non-textile TRQs, etc. Each report also includes the AGOA, ATPDEA, BFTA, DR-CAFTA, CBTPA, Haitian HOPE, MFTA, NAFTA, OFTA, SFTA, and UCFTA TPLs and TRQs for qualifying apparel and/or other textile articles, the TRQs on worsted wool fabrics, etc. (Weekly commodity report available at http://www.cbp.gov/linkhandler/cgov/trade/trade_programs/textiles_and_quotas/commodity/cr06292009.ctt/cr06292009.pdf)
5. Updated TRQ/TPL "Threshold to Fill" List
CBP has posted an updated version of its TRQ/TPL "threshold to fill" list, a quick reference to monitor TRQs and TPLs that are approaching the restraint limit or have filled the in-quota (low) rate. The list is divided into two sections - those that are at least 85% filled and those that are closed. 6. Updated CF 1400, CF 1401 Posted
CBP has posted an updated version of its CF 1400 (Record of Vessel in Foreign Trade Entrances) - an electronic query report for CF 1400 of the Vessel Management System (VMS), in accordance with 19 CFR 4.95, organized by entrances. CBP has also posted an updated CF 1401 (Record of Vessel in Foreign Trade Clearances) - an electronic query report for CF 1401 of the VMS, in accordance with 19 CFR 4.95, organized by clearances. 7. Updated Public ACS FIRMS Report
CBP has posted an updated version of its Public Automated Commercial System FIRMS (Facilities Information and Resources Management Systems) report that is organized by port code and alphabetically by company name. 8. CBP Approved Gaugers & Accredited Laboratories List
CBP has posted a list of approved gaugers and accredited laboratories. The list contains the company name, address, phone number, type (lab and/or gauger) and the date of last inspection.
