CBP has posted April 7, 2009 versions of the following previously posted ACE Customs Automated Manifest Interface Requirements (CAMIR)-Air documents: Appendix A - Codes and the Message Line Identifiers chapter. These documents are posted for informational purposes and final versions of all ACE CAMIR-Air documents are expected soon. 1. April 7th Versions of ACE CAMIR-Air Documents
2. CBP Announces Plan to Modernize Land Ports of Entry, Etc.
CBP has issued a news release announcing that funding received from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Recovery Act) will help modernize land ports of entry to help meet its border security mission, while encouraging a boost in national and local economies. CBP's news release provides a list of the 43 land ports of entry that could receive construction funding, etc. CBP has also posted additional information on the Recovery Act. 3. Updated "ACE on the Road" Event Schedule
CBP has posted an updated version of its "ACE on the Road" event schedule which lists upcoming ACE events. There are currently no events scheduled; however, there is a link to an ACE trade outreach presentation. 4. Slide Presentation on ESAR A2.2 and WHTI Portal Changes
CBP has posted a slide presentation on the upcoming ACE portal changes for ESAR A2.2 and changes that accommodate the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative. 5. Updated TRQ/TPL "Threshold to Fill" List
CBP has posted an updated version of its tariff rate quota/tariff preference level "threshold to fill" list, a quick reference to monitor TRQs and TPLs that are approaching the restraint limit or have filled the in-quota (low) rate. The list is divided into two sections - those that are at least 85% filled and those that are closed. 6. Information on Regulatory Audit Field Offices
CBP has posted a notice providing information on certain Regulatory Audit Field Offices, which are responsible for auditing major importers and other entities involved in international trade for compliance with laws and regulations governing the importation and exportation of merchandise. 7. Lacey Act, ACE Discussed at TSN Meeting

8. CBP Messages on AD and CV Duty Actions
The antidumping and countervailing messages CBP issues on behalf of the International Trade Administration are now only available on CBP's Web site at http://addcvd.cbp.gov. AD and CV ABI administrative messages are no longer issued.
