1. Summary of AESTIR Changes for February 24th
Appendix F - License and License Exemption Type Codes and Reporting Guidelines
Information has been revised pertaining to shipments of International Waters as stated in Revised FTR Letter No. 3 published January 14, 2009. (See future issue of ITT for BP summary of the revised letter.)

2. CBP Corrects ACS Currency Rates for February 23rd
CBP has issued a CSMS message stating that the ACS currency rate listing that was issued on February 23, 2009 was incorrect. A corrected listing was issued the morning of February 24th to reflect the updated rates from the Federal Reserve Bank. 3. Customs Bulletin Notice on CIT Abstracted Classification Decisions
The February 26, 2009 Customs Bulletin contains a table of ten abstracted classification decisions issued by the Court of International Trade, mostly favorable to the importer, for certain ports and merchandise (e.g., toys, jackets, folios and organizers, bottle bags, robots and controllers). The antidumping and countervailing messages CBP issues on behalf of the International Trade Administration are now only available on CBP's Web site at http://addcvd.cbp.gov. AD and CV ABI administrative messages are no longer issued.
