U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued a memo on the increase of the fiscal year 2008 refined sugar tariff rate quota limit by a total of 272,155 metric tons (none of which is for specialty sugars) and extension of the refined sugar quota period through December 31, 2008. 2. CBP Posts Revised Trade VPN Document
CBP has revised the its CBP Trade Virtual Private Network (VPN) document entitled "Deciding Which VPN Solution is Best for Your Company," which provides four scenarios that need to be considered when deciding which method to use to connect to the CBP Trade Partner VPN Infrastructure.
The document has been revised to indicate that the most reliable type of connection is dedicated and redundant MPLS connections directly to CBP using Verizon MPLS VPN connection.
