AD: India Certain Forged Stainless Steel Flanges
The International Trade Administration has issued its final results of the antidumping duty administrative review of certain forged stainless steel flanges from India for the period of February 1, 2006 through January 31, 2007.

AD Cash Deposit Instructions for a Time of Entry on or after 05/29/08:

(a) If the exporter is not a firm covered in this review, but was covered in a previous review or the original AD investigation, the AD duty cash deposit rate will continue to be the company-specific rate published for the most recent period;
(b) If the exporter is not a firm covered in this review, a prior review, or the original AD investigation, but the manufacturer is, the AD duty cash deposit rate will be the rate established for the most recent period for the manufacturer of the merchandise; and
(c) The AD duty cash deposit rate for all other manufacturers or exporters will continue to be 162.14%, the all-others rate established in the AD investigation.
Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (02/01/06 - 01/31/07)
The ITA will issue assessment instructions to U.S. Customs and Border Protection 15 days after May 29, 2008.
The ITA states that for any importer-specific assessment rates calculated in the final results that are above de minimis, it will issue appraisement instructions directly to CBP to assess AD duties on appropriate entries by applying the assessment rate to the entered value of the merchandise.
The ITA states that for entries of subject merchandise during the review period produced by Shree Ganesh for which Shree Ganesh did not know its merchandise was destined for the U.S., the ITA will instruct CBP to liquidate unreviewed entries at the 162.14% all-others rate if there is no company-specific rate for an intermediary involved in the transaction.
