ITC Terminates Investigation of Two CNL Waiver Petitions for 2007 GSP Annual Review
The International Trade Commission has announced that it is terminating the investigation of two competitive need limitation (CNL) waiver petitions for further review as part of the 2007 Generalized System of Preferences Annual Review.

Indonesian PET Resin, Certain Argentine Leather No Longer Being Investigated
Pursuant to a U.S. Trade Representative letter advising of the withdrawal of two CNL waiver petitions, the ITC has terminated its investigation with respect to the following country/tariff number pairs:

*These country/tariff number pairs are currently GSP-eligible. In addition, they are not listed by the USTR as being at risk for losing GSP on July 1, 2008.
ITC to Issue Report on Three Remaining Articles by April 17th
The ITC expects to transmit its report to the USTR by April 17, 2008 providing its advice with respect to the remaining three CNL waiver petitions that are the subject of the USTR's request: (1) Cucumbers including gherkins, prepared or preserved by vinegar or acetic acid (HTS 2001.10.00) from India; (2) New pneumatic rubber radial tires for passenger vehicles (HTS 4011.10.10) from Indonesia; and (3) Copper, cables, plaited bands and the like, not fitted with fittings and not made up into articles (HTS 7413.00.50) from Turkey.
