1. Various Postings to CBP's Web Site

Bush's proposed budget requests just under $11 billion for CBP. CBP has issued a press release announcing that President Bush's fiscal year 2009 proposed budget requests $10.94 billion for CBP, which would represent an increase of $1.66 billion, or 17.9%, over 2008's enacted budget, excluding funds provided as emergency appropriations. When FY 2008 emergency appropriations are included, the increase would be 1.2%. CBP's FY 2009 budget request reflects $9.49 billion in appropriated resources and $1.45 billion in funding acquired through user fees. Flyer on document requirements for air travel. CBP has posted a flyer containing images of the documentary requirements for arrival to or departure from the U.S. by air. The flyer also contains images of Advance Passenger Information System (APIS) data requirements for entry and departure.
