The International Trade Administration has issued its final results of the antidumping duty new shipper reviews of fresh garlic from China for the period of November 1, 2005 through April 30, 2006.

AD Cash Deposit Instructions for a Time of Entry on or after 09/27/07:

(a) The ITA has determined a de minimis AD duty cash deposit rate for subject merchandise exported by Xinboda and produced by Dadi (0.00%); therefore, no cash deposit will be required for this specific producer-exporter combination, but they remain subject to the order;
(b) For subject merchandise exported by Hongqiao but not manufactured by Dingtai and for subject merchandise exported by Xinboda but not manufactured by Dadi, the cash deposit rate will continue to be the China-wide entity rate (i.e., 376.67%); and
(c) For subject merchandise exported by Wonderland or Tianma, but manufactured by any other party, the cash deposit rate will be the China-wide entity rate (i.e., 376.67%).
Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (11/01/05 - 04/30/06)
The ITA states that it intends to issue assessment instructions to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) 15 days after September 27, 2007.
The ITA has calculated importer-specific assessment rates for subject merchandise via ad valorem duty assessment rates, which trade sources note may differ significantly from the cash deposit rates listed above.
