CV: Korea Cut-to-Length Carbon-Quality Steel Plate

The International Trade Administration has issued its final results of the countervailing duty administrative review of certain cut-to-length carbon-quality steel plate from Korea for the period of January 1, 2005 through December 31, 2005.

CV Cash Deposit Instructions for a Time of Entry on or after 07/13/07:

(a) The CV duty cash deposit rate for DSM is de minimis (0.10%); therefore, the ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection not to collect a cash deposit on entries of subject merchandise from DSM; and

(b) The ITA will instruct CBP to continue to collect cash deposits for non-reviewed companies at the most recent company-specific or country-wide rate applicable to the company. Accordingly, the CV duty cash deposit rate that will be applied to non-reviewed companies covered by this order are those established in the most recently completed administrative proceedings.

Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (01/01/05 - 12/31/05)

The ITA states that it intends to issue assessment instructions to CBP 15 days after July 13, 2007.

The ITA will instruct CBP to liquidate shipments of subject merchandise from DSM with a time of entry during the period January 1, 2005 through December 31, 2005, without regard to CV duties.
