(BIS states that the DEAC is a Federal Advisory Committee established in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, as amended, and it advises the Secretary of Commerce on deemed export licensing policy.)

Tentative Agenda for Public Session of the July 30, 2007 DEAC Meeting

According to BIS, the tentative agenda of topics for discussion at the July 30, 2007 DEAC public session includes the following (partial list):

U.S. Industry Competitiveness

U.S. Academic and Government Research Communities

Industry, Academia and other Stakeholder Comments

BIS notes that while these topics will likely be discussed, this list is not exhaustive and there may be discussion of other related items during the public session.
