Treasury Issues its CBP Semi-Annual Regulatory Agenda
The Treasury Department has published its semi-annual regulatory agenda, which contains certain U.S. Customs and Border Protection regulatory rulemakings.

This agenda is a comprehensive list of the Treasury's CBP rulemakings at the proposed, final, and completed stages, as well as rulemakings that are long term actions. The agenda lists the regulation title, past regulation(s), if any, the timeframe for the next regulatory action(s), if any, a brief description of the regulation, and a contact party name and telephone number.

Entry of Certain Softwood Lumber Products from Canada Requiring an Export Permit
Treasury states that this document adopts interim amendments to 19 CFR in order to establish additional entry requirements applicable to shipments of softwood lumber from Canada. The interim amendments involve the collection of certain additional information for purposes of monitoring and enforcing an agreement dated September 12, 2006, between the Governments of the U.S. and Canada (U.S.-Canada Softwood Lumber Agreement (SLA 2006)) regarding trade in softwood lumber. Extension of Import Restrictions Imposed on Archaeological and Ethnological Material from Peru
Treasury states that this document will amend 19 CFR to reflect the extension of the import restrictions on archaeological and ethnological materials from Peru that were imposed by Treasury Decision (T.D.) 97-50 and extended by T.D. 02-30.
