U.S. Customs and Border Protection has posted notice on its Web site notifying all individuals who took the April 2, 2007 Customs Broker License Exam that due to extenuating circumstances the exams have not yet been scored. CBP states that it is anticipated that the exam will be scored by May 15, 2007. According to CBP, once the results are received by CBP, the notification process will be expedited. 2. Local Holiday for the Port of New Orleans, LA
CBP has issued an ABI administrative message announcing that due to the local Mardi Gras holiday, the Port of New Orleans office was closed for business on February 20, 2007. An extra day will be granted to all filers filing entries in the Port of New Orleans for this date. CBP states that filers will be extended one additional day without penalty for late-filed entries or payment of duties that would become due on February 20, 2007. 3. Weekly TRQ/TPL Commodity Report as of April 30, 2007
CBP has issued its weekly tariff rate quota and tariff preference level commodity report as of April 30, 2007.
