2. BIS' Information Systems TAC to Hold Partially Open Meeting

The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) has issued a notice announcing that its Information Systems Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) will hold a partially open meeting on April 25, 2007 in Washington, DC. The agenda for the public session includes discussion of the Processor Technology Roadmap, information system technology in the Military Critical Technologies List, commercial encryption technology, and working group reports on comprehensive review of the Commerce Control List. 3. State Dept Designates One Entity Under WMD EO

The State Department has issued a notice designating an Iranian entity, the Defense Industries Organization, effective March 30, 2007, whose property and interests in property are blocked, with certain exceptions, under Executive Order (EO) 13382, "Blocking Property of Weapons of Mass Destruction Proliferators and Their Supporters." 4. FDA Announces Meetings in Preparation for ICH Meetings in Brussels

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a notice announcing a public meeting which was to be held on April 6, 2007 entitled "Preparation for International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH) Meetings in Brussels, Belgium" to provide information and receive comments on the ICH as well as the upcoming meetings in Brussels, Belgium. 5. AMS Final Rule Adds Vice-Chairperson Position to Adm. Committee of the Nat'l Potato Promotion Board

The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) has issued a final rule, effective May 4, 2007, which adopts an interim final rule, without change, amending the structure of the Administrative Committee of the National Potato Promotion Board as prescribed in the Potato Research and Promotion Plan by increasing the number of Vice-Chairperson positions on the Committee from six to seven.
