2. OFAC Removes One Person from List of Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons, Liberia Program

The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has issued a notice announcing the name of one person, Abbas Fawaz, whose property and interests in property have been unblocked and whose name was removed from the list of Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons on June 12, 2006 pursuant to Executive Order 13348 of July 22, 2004. 3. DHS Announces Port-au-Prince Airport Carries Out Effective Security Measures

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has issued a notice announcing that the DHS Secretary has determined that Port-au-Prince International Airport located in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, maintains and carries out effective security measures. 4. FSIS Held Public Meeting on the CCFFV of the Upcoming Codex Meeting

The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) issued a notice announcing that it held a public meeting on August 3, 2006 in Washington, D.C in order to provide draft U.S. positions and receive public comments on agenda items that will be discussed at the 13th Session of the Codex Committee on Fresh Fruits and Vegetables (CCFFV) of the Codex Alimentarius Commission (Codex), which will be held in Mexico City, Mexico on September 25-29, 2006. 5. OFAC Adds One Name to List of Persons Who Commit, Threaten to Commit, or Support Terrorism

The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has issued a notice announcing the name of the newly-designated individual, "Abd Al-Razziq", Abu Sufian al-Salamabi Muhammed Ahmed (See notice for complete list of aliases, date of birth, place of birth, etc.), whose property and interests are blocked pursuant to Executive Order 13224 of September 2001, "Blocking Property and Prohibiting Transactions with Persons Who Commit, Threaten To Commit, or Support Terrorism."
