2. FSIS Provides Additional Information for June 15th Codex Meeting

The USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has issued a notice stating that it advertently left out certain information from its previous notice regarding a public meeting on June 15, 2006 in Washington, DC. 3. BIS Prohibits Swiss Telecom from Participating in Transactions Involving Software and Technology Exports from the U.S. for 10 Years

The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) has issued an order prohibiting, for a period of 10 years, Swiss Telecomm of Toronto, Ontario from directly or indirectly participating in any way in any transaction involving any commodity, software or technology exported or to be exported from U.S. that is subject to the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) or in any other activity subject to the EAR.
