2. FDA Announces Availability of LACF Electronic Process Filing System

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a notice to low acid and acidified canned food manufacturers which announces the development of a low acid canned foods (LACF) electronic process filing system which provides instant confirmation that the FDA has received filings, allows users to check the status of their forms anytime, etc. (FDA Pub 02/10/06, available athttp://www.cfsan.fda.gov/comm/lacf-efs.html)

3. FMC Lists OTI Reissuances and Revocations

The FMC has issued two notices that either reissue ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) licenses or revoke OTI licenses, as follows:

4. Justice Dept. Announces Charges/Actions on Export Violations

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has issued press releases announcing certain export violations committed by companies or individuals, and the actions taken by the Department of Justice or U.S. federal courts (see press releases for additional details):
