1. CBP Outlines Various Broker License and Permit-Related Fees

U.S. Customs and Border Protection Intercepts Counterfeit Handbags Worth Over $2 Million. At the Norfolk Port of Entry, CBP made a significant seizure of purses, wallets and backpacks bearing the counterfeit trademarks for "Gucci," "Coach," and "Burberry." DHS Announces CBP Border Patrol Agent Deployment Schedule. On December 6, 2005, the Secretary of Homeland Security announced the fiscal year 2006 CBP Border Patrol agent deployment schedule. According to the press release, in a significant increase in personnel, an additional 1,700 CBP Border Patrol agents will be assigned to the Southwest border.
