ITA Publishes Lists of Completed, Pending, and Omitted AD Duty Scope Rulings and Anticircumvention Inquiries

The International Trade Administration (ITA) has published its lists of completed and pending antidumping (AD)) duty scope rulings; terminated scope inquiries; and pending scope and anticircumvention inquiries.

The ITA's lists include the country, case reference number, requestor(s), and a brief description of either the ruling or product subject to the request. The ITA notes that subsequent lists will follow after the close of each calendar quarter.

List of Completed & Pending Rulings and Inquiries, Etc.

Listed below are the country, product, case number, and status for each of the AD cases in the ITA's notice (note the "status legend" at the end of the list).

Several of the AD cases listed below have more than one completed, terminated, and/or pending ruling and/or inquiry. In addition, the numerical notes below "highlight" some of the rulings and inquiries.

The ITA found that meter box frames, covers, and extension rings, are excluded from the scope of the AD duty order.

With regard to the completed AD duty scope ruling, "butterfly chairs" were determined to be excluded from the scope of the AD duty order.

With regard to the completed AD duty scope ruling, certain overbed tables are excluded from the scope of the AD duty order

4These pending scope inquiries concern whether pure and alloy magnesium processed in Canada or France, or any third country and exported to the U.S. using either pure magnesium ingots originally produced in China or pure magnesium produced in Russia is within the scope of the AD duty orders of pure magnesium from China or magnesium metal from Russia.

5This pending scope inquiry concerns whether certain saccharin products originating in China and further-processed in Israel are within the scope of the AD duty order.

6One pending scope inquiry concerns whether certain infant furniture (i.e., infant (baby) changing tables, toy boxes or chests, infant (baby) armories, and toddler beds) is within the scope of the AD duty order. Another pending scope order concerns whether day beds are within the scope of the AD duty order.

7The pending anti-circumvention inquiry concerns whether imports of palm and vegetable-based wax candles from China can be considered later-developed merchandise which is now circumventing the AD duty order.

8The pending anti-circumvention inquiry concerns whether imports of frozen fish fillets from Cambodia made from live fish sourced from Vietnam, and falling within the scope of the AD duty order are circumventing the AD duty order.
