CBP Will Not Accept Paper Applications Postmarked After July 15, 2005
CBP has updated these online C-TPAT instructions to state that it will not accept paper membership applications postmarked after July 15, 2005. After that postmark date, applicants must apply for membership via the Online C-TPAT Application Process.
These instructions state that previous applicants (other than importers) should continue to submit their C-TPAT information (e.g., their security profile) via email to industy.partnership@dhs.gov.
(CBP sources had previously stated by phone that CBP would reject C-TPAT applications that are not submitted online after July 21, 2005.)
