ITC Expects to Soon Post Its July 1, 2005 Version Of the HTS to its Web Site
According to sources, the International Trade Commission (ITC) is expected to post an updated version of the 2005 Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) dated July 1, 2005 to its Web site during the week of July 4, 2005.

Once posted, the July 1, 2005 version of the 2005 HTS is expected to be able to be downloaded from the ITC Web site at http://www.usitc.gov/tata/hts/ in PDF Format, either in its entirety or by chapter.
U.S. government sources state that the paper version of the July 1, 2005 HTS will be sent to the Government Printing Office's (GPO's) contractor for printing and distribution to subscribers after it has been posted to the ITC's Web site. (ITC sources have previously stated that this printing and distribution process usually takes 2-4 weeks.)
July 1, 2005 Version Will Reflect GSP Changes, NAFTA Rule of Origin Modifications, Etc.
ITC sources state that the July 1, 2005 version of the 2005 HTS will reflect the July 1, 2005 changes to the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) program, recent modifications to the NAFTA rules of origin for certain goods of Mexico, etc.
