AD: Finland, Mexico, Netherlands, and Sweden Purified Carboxylmethylcellulose

The International Trade Administration (ITA) has made final affirmative antidumping (AD) duty determinations that purified carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) from Finland, Mexico, Netherlands, and Sweden is being, or is likely to be, sold in the U.S. at less than fair value. The period of investigation for subject merchandise from these countries is April 1, 2003 through March 31, 2004.

Final Affirmative Antidumping Duty Determinations

The ITA states that it will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to continue to suspend liquidation of all imports of subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after December 27, 2004 and to require a cash deposit or posting of a bond at the revised AD rates listed below for entries of subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after May 17, 2005:
