AD: Germany Stainless Steel Bar
The International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued the final results of its antidumping (AD) duty administrative review of stainless steel bar from Germany for the period of March 1, 2003 through February 29, 2004.

AD Cash Deposit Rate for a Time of Entry On/After 04/13/05:

(a) The ITA has determined that a final de minimis AD duty rate of 0.01% exists; as a result, no AD cash deposit is required;
(b) For previously reviewed or investigated companies not listed above that have separate rates, the cash deposit rate will continue to be the company-specific rate published for the most recent period;
(c) If the exporter is not a firm covered in this review, a previous review, or the original AD duty investigation, but the manufacturer is, the AD cash deposit rate will be the rate established for the most recent period for the manufacturer of the subject merchandise; and
(d) The AD cash deposit rate for all other manufacturers and/or exporters shall continue to be 16.96%, the "all others" rate.
Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (03/01/03 - 02/29/04)
The ITA states that it will issue appropriate assessment instructions directly to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) within 15 days of April 13, 2005.
The ITA also states that the AD assessment rates are exporter/importer (or customer)-specific, and according to trade sources, may differ significantly from the AD cash deposit rates listed above.
